Greg Raiff is an esteemed influencer in the aviation industry and a consummate authority on commercial and private air transportation. As an accomplished entrepreneur, Greg has over 20 years’ experience at the helm of air transportation and services companies. He has been quoted in national publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The Denver Post and CNN.com. Raiff is a contributor on regional news features covering the air travel industry.

His immersion into the aviation industry was galvanized with the success of his very first business, StudentCity.com which was founded in his Middlebury College dorm room in 1989. The $7 million business, which managed spring break air transport for over 50,000 students, was subsequently acquired by TUI Travel PLC, a FTSE 100 leisure travel company listed on the London Stock Exchange (TT.L), with over 53,000 employees worldwide.

Matt has served the United States for over 30 years, both in uniform and as a civilian, serving twice as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense. He is a highly experienced leader, executive and decorated Navy veteran with extensive C-suite level aviation, operations and safety experience.

As the Chief of Staff and Directory of Safety, Matt is responsible for enterprise-wide information flow, planning and implementation strategies, as well as support to the executive team.

He is a Certified International Safety Manager and an experienced aviation safety auditor accredited by ARG/US, the International Aviation Business Council, the Flight Safety Foundation and the Air Charter Safety Foundation.

Matt attended Phillips Exeter Academy and received a B.S. in Finance from Siena College and an M.B.A. from Troy State University.

Mike MacKeen leads initiatives and investments across our Finance, Technology, Human Capital and Business Planning functions. His team delivers the infrastructure that enables our growth and assures we have the resources to deliver superior customer experience.  Mike is a seasoned business builder with experience spanning from innovative start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.

Mike’s previous roles include experience as a senior executive, investor and investment banker in high-growth organizations across the Transportation, Technology, Media and Financial Services industries. Mike developed expertise in business planning and growth capital formation while raising over a billion dollars in private equity capital for dozens of innovative companies.   

Mike is a Chartered Financial Analyst who holds a Masters Degree from the McDonough School at Georgetown University and a Bachelors Degree from the Carroll School at Boston College.  

Michael Horrisberger is a technology leader with over twenty years of experience building high performing organizations and managing complex processes and technologies.

As the CIO, Michael is responsible for developing and executing PJS’ technology strategy and overseeing all aspects of information technology, information security, data, and analytics. He also supports the growth of the business through the enhancement of IT- and analytics-related initiatives.

Prior to joining PJS, Michael served as a U.S. Navy A6-E Intruder Pilot with Attack Squadron VA196 for seven years and he held executive leadership roles with Emery Waterhouse and Unum in business development, operations and IT management across financial services and distribution with a primary focus on enabling growth strategies.

Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy. 

Tim Murphy is a seasoned legal expert with extensive experience developing and closing domestic and international project finance and corporate transactions. He has worked with many multinational law firms based out of Washington, D.C., New York, Texas and Singapore, and has many years of successful first chair and litigation management experience with State and Federal trial and appeal courts and agencies. 

As General Counsel for Private Jet Services, Tim works closely with leadership and outside counsel to support all legal matters, including corporate organization, finance, contract negotiation, compliance, tax and regulatory analysis, employment law and litigation. 

Tim is an alumnus of the College of William & Mary Law School and Stony Brook University in New York. Tim also attended school in Stockholm, Sweden during a year abroad. Previously based in Virginia, Tim now resides in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Andrew VanderPloeg leads PJS’s Sales team and Advisory practice. His team provides tailored insight and analysis to PJS clients to optimize their private aviation solutions and customer experience.  

With a background in corporate finance and accounting, Andrew brings both a quantitative and qualitative approach to assisting PJS clients. His experience also helps to guide the Corporate Strategy and Business Planning functions along with CFO Mike MacKeen.
His previous roles and experience span the hospitality, real estate, publishing, and information governance industries. Andrew developed expertise in business planning, corporate strategy, cross-functional project management, and growth strategies.
Andrew holds a Masters Degree from the Olin School at Babson College, and a Bachelors Degree from Bentley University.

Susan Flammia brings 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management and 4 years from the world of aviation. Susan holds a track record of delivering improved operations and processes, technological development and implementation, and staff training resulting in long-term efficiency savings and best HR Practices. 

Susan’s employment has spanned various industries from construction to the aviation while mentoring and empowering employees along the way. She is passionate about elevating businesses and their teams bringing higher efficiencies and ROI.
Susan earned a Masters in Human Resources and is on track to complete her Masters in Business Administration.

Mike Klemm is responsible for the PJS NHL Team Charter Program, the NCAA Team Charter Program, and all ACMI programs.

Mike began his aviation career in 1991 at Midwest (Express) Airlines, working his way through the ranks to eventually run the entire Charter Department, overseeing all sales and operations while specializing in professional and collegiate sports charters. During his tenure at Midwest he led the full season flight programs for six NHL clubs as well as ad-hoc flights for an additional 14 NHL clubs. He also led the flight programs for three U.S. Presidential candidates during the 2008 U.S. Presidential campaigns.

Mike grew up in Milwaukee, WI and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Robert Coleman is the Senior Director of Operations and Owner Services at Private Jet Services.

With nearly a decade in the aviation industry under his belt in both sales and business development, Coleman uses his expertise to strategically advise and develop the sales and client services team at PJS.

Coleman is an innovative thinker, focused on company-wide growth and optimizing new and existing solutions to create genuine, personalized customer experiences. As such, he is known for his outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain long-standing partnerships and relationships both internally and externally.

Coleman graduated from Daniel Webster College with a degree in Aviation Flight Operations and Aviation Management also holds AS and BS, Aviation Business Administration degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a certified private pilot.

Cara Tachibana holds over 20 years of marketing experience, building brands and creative strategy for increased company growth. At PJS, Cara leads all programs from digital marketing to content marketing and communications.

Cara’s career began in Portland, Maine, working with a full service marketing agency. After outgrowing the agency world, Cara worked her way into multiple industries, from ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to B2B payment solutions, leading her own creative teams. She is passionate about finding effective solutions that help companies expand their reach.

Cara grew up in New Jersey and Maine and holds a BS in Business/Marketing from the University of Southern Maine.
