Incentive Travel. Top sellers to the Maldives, fifteen years running.

top performers per trip

An auto group's incentive trips go to places commercial aviation barely reaches. A 68-seat VIP airliner has carried its top sellers together — Maldives, Vietnam, Cabo, Seychelles — for over 15 years.

Challenge

Every year, a prominent New England auto chain rewards its top-performing sales executives with a group incentive trip, held in inspiring, often off-the-beaten-path locations worldwide. These remote locations are typically hard to reach commercially — and harder still when arranging travel for more than 40 people.

The company had researched private charters and found that few aviation companies support a group of this size without limiting where it could travel. Providers tend to shy away from larger groups, because managing full-time operations and concierge staff, people on the ground and contact with airliners — all while maintaining a high level of customer service — is a hefty lift.

Solution

PJS matched the company with a VIP airliner sized to the full group, with full-service operational support from the trip's start to finish. The aircraft carried 68 first-class seats, a full bar, entertainment and WiFi — and PJS coordinated regional-specific catering at prominent locations along the route wherever the aircraft stopped for fuel.

Result

The automotive group kept its incentive experience intact by making travel part of the vacation: all employees fly together, with coordinated arrival and departure times and easier logistics. The organization now flies its top sellers with PJS annually and has relied on PJS for over 15 years — no longer limited in destination, changing the event location each year to places like the Maldives, Vietnam, Cabo and the Seychelles.
